| Description: Speers-Waler Eyepieces - Antares These 8 and 9 element designs offer the serious observer impressive wide angle, long eye relief performance. A wide, well corrected field is critical to an ocular's function, but without adequate eye relief, the thrill of the experience will be lost. Speers-Waler series eyepieces provide eye relief
and apparent field in a balance that yields scintillating views in comfort. All Antares Speers-Waler series are state of the art in modern ocular construction. All lenses are fully multicoated and edge blackened for maximum transmission with minimum ghosting and scatter. Where possible, inner baffles are grooved to further suppress stray light. Oversized optical elements
provide optimal eye relief; the clear aperature of the eye lens of each eyepiece is a minimum 25mm in diameter. Unlike other designs, your eye won't be pressed against an undersized eye lens. Each eyepiece has a relatively lightweight construction and comes with engraved lettering, rubber eyeshield and grip. All fit 1.25" focusers.
