Meridian Telescopes Group was formed to fill the need of products to the individuals who are new to the field of astronomy. As a person begins their exploration of astronomy, they need a roadmap to guide them through the volumes of data, information, and choosing the right telescope. MTG can be the source for individuals can go to for guidance in their exploration of astronomy. Our growing product line of telescopes, observatories, and eyepeices are aimed for the novice astronomer who wants to build a quality telescope. Their telescope will be useful for their journey in astronomy and will be used for many years. That product could be telescope drawings, telescope components or raw materials found in the construction of a quality telescope. Astronomy, being an exciting field, gives an amateur astronomer the opportuntiy to 'Discover' things that no one else has ever seen. Professional astronomers actually rely upon the findings of the amateur astronomer to enhance their studies in some fields of astronomy.
