"Red Eyes" Computer Light Shield  by SIRIUS ASTRO PRODUCTS
Every astronomer who uses a computer in the field at night needs to dim down the screen or risk losing their night vision. The "Red Eyes" computer screen light shield reduces the amount of non-red light coming from your laptop or CRT display, or even your TV screen while using a web cam. This allows you to go back to the eyepiece without having to wait for your night vision to return. Perfect for the CCD imager. No longer a need for the cardboard box around your laptop. Our Red Eyes is made of a tough 3 mils thick polycarbonate film that resists tearing and wrinkling, and is easily cut to size with scissors or razor knife. Unlike other darker red, and less transparent Rubylith products and polyester films, this lighter shade of red polycarbonate film is easier to see through, and will not smear off, and onto your computer, when exposed to dew and other moisture. The standard size 10" x 14" piece will fit most of the largest laptop computers. Larger sizes available. Attaches to your computer screen using supplied rubber bands, (no messy tape required)
